weekend art

Last weekend I noticed my yard looked awful. So, my family and I worked together to make the yard look more colorful for spring. We planted some vibrant colored flowers and we filled up the bird feeder and the humming bird nectar. During that time, I noticed my Bird of Paradise in the corner of my yard, it's bright and fully bloomed. Its look like dancing bird with its wings spread apart as if its soaring. I brought my paint and here is my piece!

Water color

My daughter has recently started to mess around with water color painting, she made a really beautiful Ganesha Painting. I was inspired by her, and now I am attempting to do water color as well . So I opened up  my water color box after 21 years, last time I used my water color palette was when I was in art school. I thought it would be hard for me to do water color again but, I felt the need to try it again and, I can do it! So, so far, I started a series about birds, I was also inspired by the fact that it's spring, the weather is beautiful and birds are chirping/singing in the early mornings.

My old water color palette (oh, the memories!)

Painted Rocks

Snail, Feather, Humming Bird, Horse and Tree Frog :

In my yard I have river rocks in different sizes so I started painting on them. In my home
country we draw white designs in front of the house so I was inspired by that, I'm a nature
lover, I like all kinds of habitats. Here are my pictures, if you want to buy my art then go
to my Etsy shop or if you like it then go to my Facebook page and press the like button.

If you want I have a more feather rocks in a different color and  different sizes.

Handmade bead necklace

Add a touch of quiet elegance with this necklace in blue, green, purple and gold. I created the fiber beads from a hand painted jeans. The process I use to create my beads leaves them fairly hard and inflexible. I add a copper metal wire with seed beads to complete the necklace.

This is a beautiful and elegant necklace with fabric beads and glass findings. Very unique and ethnic . The vibrant colors of the necklace will surely attract compliments.
